Apprenticeship salaries vary depending on who you work for, but you'll be paid at least the minimum wage rate. Many companies pay a lot higher than this, including us.

What you can earn as an apprentice at the council
During the first year the minimum you'll be paid for an Intermediate Level 2 apprenticeship is £6.56 an hour, which is £12,656 a year.
The minimum you'll be paid during the first year of an Advanced or Higher Level 3+ apprenticeship is £8.36 an hour, or £16,128 a year.
Once you've completed the first year, the minimum you'll be paid is the national minimum wage for your age. This will not be any less than your starting salary.
