Active travel, like walking & cycling is a great way of adding physical activity into your day.
As well as helping to keep you healthy, travelling actively also helps improve air quality in the city, reduce congestion and reduce your risk of being exposed to Covid-19.
If you can’t travel actively for your whole journey, active travel can also be combined with other forms of travel. For example you could park further from your destination or get off the bus a stop early and walk the rest of the way.
