How to stay active during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in Autumn and Winter 2020

During these unprecedented times, we are all taking it day by day as we try to look after ourselves and our friends and family through the uncertainty of the pandemic.

Staying physically active is an essential way to look after your wellbeing, de-stress, keep healthy and manage long-term conditions.

Since March this year our Active for Life colleagues from the Healthy Lifestyles Team have worked together to share opportunities and resources to help you to stay active in and from your home. This included tips, ideas, advice and online sessions.

As lockdown has eased the team led some face-to-face sessions. Some of these now run regularly and there are more planned.  

There are sections to the right, with ideas and information about how to be active and advice on how to get the most from your physical activity and exercise safely.

Please note that what you do should be at the right level for you, and the opportunities are designed to be accessible to most people, no matter what your age or fitness level is.
