What you'll need to upload to the form
To apply for HMO (mandatory or additional) or selective licensing, you'll need to upload the following safety certificates:
- gas
- electrical
- portable appliance test
- installation and commissioning certificate or a test certificate for the fire alarm or emergency lighting system - for HMO Licensing only
You'll also need to upload the following supporting documents:
- energy performance certificate
- a plan of the property - this could be a sketch
- a copy of any tenancy agreement(s) that are in place for the property
- property inspection records - showing date of inspections
Details you need to complete the form
You need to tell us:
- mortgage lender details if there's a mortgage on the property
- letting agent details if you have a letting agent managing the property
You'll also need:
- accreditation proof if you're accredited
- a credit or debit card to make the payment
