Now is a great time to join Brighton & Hove City Council as we expand the team to deliver our exciting strategic plans for Housing into the future.
The housing investment & asset management service delivers a wide range of projects across asset management, sustainability and energy, mechanical & electrical and planned and major capital works for our housing stock of approximately 12,500 properties.
We’re now looking for enthusiastic people to join us to help improve housing quality and supply, achieve carbon reductions, improve the services and living conditions of our residents and reduce homelessness across the city.
We’re recruiting to a number of roles across our leadership team, project management, specialist, administrative posts and more.

Why work for us
We are a friendly team of around 50 colleagues with varied skills of engineers, construction surveyors and project managers, sustainability, leasehold management, asset management, resident engagement, finance and administration and manage a budget for capital works in the region of £20million+.
We’re continuing to improve the quality of our council housing through planned and major works programmes. We are also increasing the supply of our housing through new-builds and buy-backs, as part of our drive to increase the number of genuinely affordable, safe, accessible and energy-efficient homes in the city.
