Our goal, outlined in the Brighton & Hove City Council Plan, is to:
The Healthy Lifestyles Team is committed to Brighton & Hove City Council’s goals. We're dedicated to removing barriers and improving the accessibility of our service.
We want to make our Healthy Lifestyles service as inclusive and accessible as possible for everyone who uses it. That is why we collect equalities data, like for example, age, disability, ethnicity, sex and gender identity, sexual orientation and religion.
Equalities data helps us ensure we're supporting everyone in the city, treating everyone fairly, and removing barriers to access that people may face.
Providing equalities data is entirely voluntary. This means you do not have to share equalities information if you do not want to. The equalities data we collect is used to create reports to help us understand the impact of our service. These reports are always anonymised, which means that it does not identify any individual.
We welcome feedback to further improve the accessibility of the services and support provided by the Healthy Lifestyles Team.
You can provide feedback through the Brighton & Hove City Council’s Rate Your Experience survey.
