Hangleton & Knoll Neighbourhood Forum Renewal Application Approval (March 2024)
The Hangleton & Knoll Neighbourhood Forum re-designation was approved by the Culture, Heritage, Sport, Tourism & Economic Development Committee on 7 March 2024.
The forum applied to the council to formally renew its designation in accordance with the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 the Localism Act 2011 and the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012.
The Neighbourhood Area boundary will remain identical to the original boundary that was designated in 2018. Renewal enables the Hangleton & Knoll Neighbourhood Forum to prepare a neighbourhood plan for the area.
Consultation on the re-designation of the Hangleton & Knoll Neighbourhood Forum took place for 6 weeks. It opened on 12 January 2024 and closed on 23 February 2024.

Hangleton & Knoll Neighbourhood Area and Forum
Hangleton & Knoll neighbourhood forum submitted an application for a neighbourhood area and to have its forum formally designated. The neighbourhood area and forum applications were subject to public consultation which ran for a period of 6 weeks from Monday 6th August to Monday 17th September 2018. The Forum and Area were approved through a decision made by the Executive Director - Economy Environment & Culture on 7 November 2018.
