About support services for young people
Brighton & Hove City Council supports organisations to offer youth services, projects and youth voice opportunities.
These services are for young people age 13 to 19, and up to age 25 if they have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

- Allsorts - information and support for young people under the age of 26 who are LGBT+ or exploring their gender identity and/or sexual orientation
- Black and Minority Ethnic Young Peoples Project (BMEYPP) - a youth led project for young people of colour age 11 to 25, offering safe spaces where they can take part in activities
- Brighton Youth Centre (BYC) - for people age 5 to 19, offering lots of drop in and weekly activities
- Child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS) - the wellbeing service for children and young people and specialist CAMHS
- Extratime - affordable clubs, holiday schemes and family events activities for children and young people with or without disability age 4 to 25
- Find, Get, Give mental health support - information and support, learn what other young people think about mental health services in your area
- Sussex Nightstop - provides emergency accommodation to homeless people age 16 to 25 in comfortable, welcoming host homes, with support finding more permanent accommodation
- The Hangleton and Knoll Project - working with young residents to access and develop opportunities and resources
- The Trust for Developing Communities (TDC) - delivers youth work to give young people the skills and confidence to make positive changes in their lives
