About Childcare inclusion funding
You can get childcare inclusion funding support children with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to attend school run and Ofsted-registered childcare.
The fund is intended to provide for changes to the childcare provision which will make it possible for the child to access the service.
This might include:
- changes to the building
- specialist equipment
- training for staff
- more staff time or a member of staff
Parents must pay the fee for attending the childcare.

How to apply for the Childcare Inclusion Fund
The childcare provider and parent or carer must apply jointly. You can use the application forms throughout the year, we do not make termly changes.
