Information about funding to support the inclusion of disabled children or those with special needs to attend Ofsted registered childcare and activities.
About the funding
Childcare inclusion funding is available to support disabled children or those with special needs to attend Ofsted-registered childcare and childcare run by schools.
The fund is intended to provide for changes to the childcare provision which will make it possible for the child to access the service. This might include:
- changes to the building
- specialist equipment
- training for staff
- more staff time or a member of staff
Parents must pay the fee for attending the childcare.

How to apply for the Childcare Inclusion Fund
Applications must be made jointly by the childcare provider and parent or carer.
The new and updated application forms for after-school clubs and holiday playschemes can be found below. The same forms can be used throughout the year, we won't be making termly changes.
