Moulsecoomb Family Hub offers services for families and carers with children under 5 years of age to all areas of:
- Bates Estate
- Elm Grove
- Sussex and Brighton University sites
The 0 to 19 healthy child programme team is made up of:
- health visitors
- school nurses
- family hub connectors
- community nursery nurses
- family hub volunteer co-ordinators
- group support workers
The team works with families, individuals and groups in the home and in the centres.

Jump Start Nursery is based in Moulsecoomb Children's Centre and works in partnership with the team.
Volunteers, training and hub news
The hub has an advisory group that supports and guides the services offered. Local parents are involved in these meetings. Please contact the family hubs manager or family hub volunteer co-ordinator for details.
Volunteer opportunities are available. Full support and guidance is given by children's centre staff. A disclosure and barring service (DBS), previously the criminal records bureau (CRB), and other checks are carried out by the council. Please contact the hub if you would like more information about volunteering.
