Adult and community learning
BHCC Adult and Community Learning offers a range of part-time qualification and Community Learning courses for Brighton & Hove residents aged 19+
We look forward to helping you increase your skills to support you into work, enable you to gain qualifications, help you to meet new friends, improve your wellbeing or simply discover new hobbies or interests.
Our courses are funded by the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) and the majority are free.
To comply with current COVID-19 restrictions, our tutors will be teaching on-line this term. Our long-term plan is to offer a combination of classroom based and online delivery.
Digital and Employability Skills (L2)
Brighton & Hove City Council is working with Creative Process to deliver Digital Skills from December 2020. It is an intensive digital and employability skills course designed to help people get into work and gain essential digital skills to compete in today’s job market.
Priority learners will be those who are out of work and qualified below L2 and or from deprived parts of the city.

Family learning online classroom
We are offering Family Learning online from October 2020. Family Learning provides opportunities for families to learn together or for parents and carers to learn new skills that will benefit the whole family. Our courses cover:

- managing anxiety
- language development
