Tai Chi- The Level Community Rooms
The session is for anyone aged 18+ living in Brighton and Hove. During the session you will learn Tai Chi movements, this involves gentle turning and stretching that is specifically designed to help improve health, contributing to better balance and posture, increased strength and flexibility and deep sense of calm and mindfulness.
The session is great for beginners to fitness and for beginners to Tai Chi. The activity is not strenuous and would be ideal for anyone with limited mobility, anyone that would benefit from the mindfulness aspect of Tai Chi and health conditions that may affect them doing more strenuous exercise.
The session is free but there is a suggested donation of £2 which goes towards the Taoist Tai Chi Society The instructors name is Sylvia.
Please wear comfortable clothing that allows for movement and when the session returns to The Level I would suggest wearing layers as the community room can be chilly.
