Brighton and Hove Albion promotion parade at Hove Lawns
Brighton and Hove Albion's Premier League promotion heroes will be honoured on Sunday 14 May with a seafront open-top bus parade.
The parade will begin at the Palace Pier end of Madeira Drive at 5pm. A bus convoy will carry the Albion's players, staff and directors, and Brighton & Hove City Councillors to Hove Lawns.
The parade is expected to arrive at Hove Lawns around 6.30pm.
The Albion's players and coaching staff will be presented to the crowd, from a specially erected stage.
Event at Hove Lawns
During the parade fans will be able to watch live coverage on two large TV screens either side of the stage at Hove Lawns. There will be additional screens on Hove Lawns for people wishing to sit and anyone arriving at Hove Lawns who has followed the parade.
There will be three different zones at Hove Lawns. Arrive early to get the best view of the stage in Zone A. Those arriving later or who want to bring chairs can still join in with the celebrations in Zones B and C.
Road closures will be in place from 2pm, including the seafront road A259, from Fourth Avenue to West Street.
Grand Avenue will be restricted to residents' access only. There will be rolling road closures along the route of the parade.
The exit to The Lanes car part will be closed between 4pm and 6pm.
If you are planning to travel by train please use Brighton station.
Hove station will be exit only between 6.30pm and 8.30pm.
Be prepared for long waits at Brighton station. Brighton station will have queuing systems in place after the parade. Southern Rail will be doubling the number of coaches on all their coastal services to help.
