Student involvement

Students have been involved every step of the way with planning and developing the rain gardens – from creating art to planting.

The rain gardens provide on-site outdoor learning opportunities for children to learn about biodiversity, water protection, and flooding.

At Moulsecoomb, maintenance is carried out by a school gardening team made up of students, led by a school governor. The new rain garden needs less maintenance than the previous courtyard garden.
