About
What to contact the Private Sector Housing team about
We are unable to help with Housing Benefit or Council Tax enquiries.
If your property is in disrepair and your landlord is not fixing it or if it's caused by a neighbouring property, you can ask for help to get repairs.
If you have concerns about your Housing Association property, you should contact the Housing Association directly first. If you are dissatisfied with your Housing Association's response, follow their complaints procedure which can be found on their website.
If they do not resolve the problem, you can complain to the Housing Ombudsman.
For any other questions about health and safety issues in your property or for HMO (houses in multiple occupation) licensing, contact us.
Find information about the Renters' Rights Bill.
Phone line opening times
Our phone lines are open from 9am to 1:30pm.
