Seaside View counselling for parent carers

Counselling for parent carers with a child who receives support from Seaside View

Our counselling service is open to parent carers with a child who receives support from Seaside View.

Families whose children have developmental and special educational needs face enormous challenges. Counselling can offer you a safe space to express feelings and thoughts about these experiences. Counselling focuses on your own needs as a parent and helps to identify ways of coping with difficult experiences.

Our aim is to help with experiences such as coping with diagnosis, disability, change, isolation, loss and bereavement.

We offer:

  • talking therapy

  • creative and arts based therapy

  • mindfulness courses
