We want to recognise the efforts of the many incredible people and groups who have gone the extra mile and helped our community during the pandemic. But we need your help to thank the city’s COVID-19 heroes.
Whether someone has volunteered for a charity, helped a neighbour or their wider community, or been a colleague who has gone above and beyond in the response against COVID-19; we want to hear about them and share their stories.
A selection of these thank you messages and COVID-19 heroes will be highlighted by the Mayor of Brighton & Hove in public meetings of the council and proudly publicised to the city by the council. Chosen heroes will also be invited to attend these meetings to hear their story first-hand.
Anybody can nominate as many people or organisations as they like, but the nominee must live, work or volunteer in Brighton & Hove.
