You can pay your Council Tax by card online.

Pay by card on the phone

You can call us on 01273 291 908 and choose option 2 to make your card payment over the phone.

Internet or phone banking

You can use your bank's internet banking to pay your Council Tax.

Cheque payments

You can make a payment by posting us a cheque to Council Tax, PO Box 2929, Brighton, BN1 1PS.  Please ensure you write your account number, full name and address on the back of your cheque, and allow enough time for this to reach us and be processed ahead of the date your payment is due.

PayPoint payments

You can make payments at any shop which offers PayPoint.  You’ll need your unique barcode which can be found at the bottom of your bill, if you don’t pay by Direct Debit.  If you need a replacement barcode, you can print a new one here.

Paying from another country

To pay your Council Tax from another country, you can make a bank transfer using our International Bank Account Number.
