On Thursday 4 July 2024 there were polls to elect Members of Parliament for the constituencies of:
- Brighton Kemptown and Peacehaven
- Brighton Pavilion
- Hove and Portslade
Results
Following the count overnight, the results were announced in the early hours of Friday 5 July 2024.
In Brighton & Hove, MPs were elected to three constituencies:
- Chris Ward (Labour Party) was elected as the MP for Brighton Kemptown and Peacehaven
- Siân Berry (Green Party) was elected as the MP for Brighton Pavilion
- Peter Kyle (Labour Party) was elected as the MP for Hove and Portslade
Who could vote
To vote in these elections you had to be:
- registered to vote by Tuesday 18 June
- age 18 or over on polling day
- a British citizen, Irish citizen, or a citizen of a Commonwealth country

- Tuesday 18 June 2024 – the last day to register to vote
- Wednesday 19 June, 5pm – the last day for us to receive your postal vote application
- Wednesday 19 June, 5pm – the last day to cancel your postal vote
- Wednesday 19 June, 5pm – the last day for us to receive proxy applications if you, or your proxy, already have a postal vote in place
- Wednesday 26 June, 5pm – the last day for us to receive any other proxy vote applications
- Wednesday 26 June, 5pm – the last day for us to receive your Voter Authority Certificate application
- Friday 28 June – the first day to reissue replacement postal votes
- Thursday 4 July – polls open from 7am to 10pm
