How to vote by post if you are a proxy
If you are a proxy and you can't visit the polling station of the person you're voting for in Brighton & Hove, then you can apply to vote by post as a proxy.
You'll need to verify your identity when you apply to vote by post as a proxy. You can do this by providing your National Insurance number. If you can't provide a National Insurance number, or we aren't able to verify your identity with it, we'll ask you for more identification.
You can't apply to vote by post as a proxy online. You need to fill out an application form, then return it to us by post or by email.
