We will include instructions on how to fill out your postal vote in your postal voting pack.
If you're still unsure, this video shows you how to complete your postal voting pack.
Send your postal vote back to us as soon as you can, in the envelope we provide, to Electoral Services, Hove Town Hall, Norton Road Hove, BN3 3BQ.
No matter when you post it, your postal vote must reach us by 10pm on election day.
Returning your postal vote by hand
If you do not think there's enough time for Royal Mail to return your ballot pack to us, you can hand your postal vote into any Brighton & Hove polling station on the day of the election.
You can also hand in your vote to Hove Town Hall during normal opening hours at any point before the election (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm).
If you're delivering your postal vote by hand, you must complete a separate declaration form, which will be available for you on arrival. If you do not complete this declaration form, your postal vote will be rejected.
Polling stations are open from 7am to 10pm.
Find your nearest polling station.
You can hand in 5 postal votes each election, in addition to your own.
If you are a political campaigner, you can only handle:
- your own postal vote and/or
- the postal vote of a close relative or someone for whom you provide regular care
