MyAccount temporarily unavailable

Some users may experience intermittent issues signing into our MyAccount service. This is due to high demand following the issuing of new Council Tax bills for the 2026/27 financial year.  If you do experience any issues signing in, try again later.  Sorry for any inconvenience.

Communal bin collections

Some communal waste collections are currently disrupted due to the need for essential repairs to specialist vehicles. Repairs are underway, and we expect to have them back on the road within the next week. Read our full update on communal bin collections.

There's limited data and understanding of lived experiences available in some areas, particularly around intersectionality and the impacts of various layers of identities for disabled people.

There are however several examples within communities that demonstrate the diverse disproportionate impacts due to disabilities across various intersecting identities, whether disabilities have a day-to-day impact or not compared to those who are not disabled at this time.

More statistical information is given below about disability in Brighton & Hove.
