Mayor's parlour 1

The Mayor's Parlour is in Brighton Town Hall and along with the mayoral offices it forms the Mayoral Suite.

The parlour is used for meetings, receptions and special occasions for up to 40 people.

Most of the antique furniture in the parlour came from the Royal Pavilion.

The maces, mayoral chains and badges, and a ceremonial sword presented to Mayor, Councillor David Smith on 10 July 2006 by the First Group of Deans from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, are all on display along with many other gifts including silverware, glassware and pottery.
