Council telephone systems
We are moving to a new telephone system. This may cause some initial issues and disruption to calls while it is being set up. If you have any issues, you may wish to call back at another time. What information we need to publish
The Freedom of Information Act requires every public authority to have a publication scheme that is approved by the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), and to publish information covered by the scheme.
Publication scheme
As part of its duties within the Freedom of Information Act 2000, Brighton &Hove City Council operates a publication scheme.
We will make as much information as possible available. We already publish a large amount of this through a variety of media such as our website, the press and newsletters.
Policies and procedures are held by individual directorates. If you need a copy of a policy please ask the relevant directorate which you can find in our management and structure.
