We've aware of a national scam where people are asked to pay parking fines via text. We'll never text you to request a payment for a parking fine. We'll only contact you about parking fines via letter, or email if you have already provided it to us. If you have any doubts, contact the Parking Team.
Old Boat Corner Community Centre
The Old Boat Corner Community Centre offers an affordable meeting place for groups and families, plus other organisations and parties. There are a great range of activities hosted throughout the week.
There is a:
- low cost cafe
- free play cafe
- Brighton & Hove library
- pay as you feel community pantry
- pay as you fee charity shop
There are going to be multiple cooking projects happening throughout November and December on Fridays and also a free community cinema on a Friday afternoon showing PG films.
All welcome- warm building with a place to be without having to pay for anything (apart from the cafe, where food and drinks here are charged).
The building itself is a big, inviting fun place where you can make friends, read a book, listen to a good playlist or just people watch.
