Training suspended until January 2021

Most face to face training is now suspended until January 2021.

Virtual courses

Whilst we’re not able to deliver many face to face courses this year, much of the training programme has been moved over to Teams or Zoom delivery. You can find these on the Learning Gateway.

First Aid training

We are now able to deliver socially distanced First Aid training. Please look at the Learning Gateway for dates and details.

Elearning

Our elearning courses remain available through the Learning Gateway including courses covering the following topics:

  • Care Certificate
  • Care Act (2014)
  • Health & Safety
  • Infection Prevention and Control
  • Business Continuity
  • Risk Management
  • Safeguarding Adults
  • Safeguarding Children
  • Domestic Abuse
  • Skype for Business
  • Stress Management and Wellbeing.. and more

We have created a new category “Remote Working” in eLearning, where we have grouped some courses together so they’re easy to find.

New modules about returning to workplaces have recently been added.

Additionally there are new courses freely available relevant to the social care workforce and we also encourage use of FutureLearn and OpenLearn.

Coronavirus Elearning modules

These modules are now freely available from E-learning for Health (E-LfH) and are available to the health and social care workforce. They contain key information from E-LfH’s catalogue of content as well as curated content from other trusted organisations. Content includes essential guidance from Public Health and the World Health Organisation and covers infection prevention and control.
