Update for March 2021

Our electronic systems are being upgraded to include planning applications received under The Town and Country Planning (Permission in Principle) (Amendment) Order 2017. While this is being done, we will publish all information we receive on any such applications on this page for people to view.

Commenting on a planning application

You can't use our online system to comment on an application for planning in principle. If you want to submit a comment on an application for permission in principle, you can by:

  • sending an email with your comment to planning.applications@brighton-hove.gov.uk
  • writing to The Head of Planning, City Development & Regeneration, Brighton & Hove City Council, Hove Town Hall, Norton Road, Hove, BN3 3BQ

All comments we receive will then be uploaded to this page, with personal information appropriately redacted. Due to the short timescales within which the council is required to determine this type of application, we won't be able to consider any comments received after the deadline published on the site notice for each application.
