Old Town conservation area draft Management Plan

The council has produced a draft Management Plan for the Old Town conservation area (following on from the recently adopted Character Statement). The draft Management Plan is available now to view (PDF 5.6MB).

The Old Town conservation area is currently included on the Historic England 'at risk' register due to cumulative issues that are harming the area's special character and appearance. The Plan will be an important step towards addressing the current threats to the area. We welcome all comments on the draft document until 26th August 2018. Comments can be emailed to conservation@brighton-hove.gov.uk or complete the feedback questionnaire (DOC 28KB) and email it to the same email address.

It is intended to adopt the final document in November 2018.
