Meerkat Walking Trail

Welcome to our Meerkat Discovery Trail in Moulsecoomb!

Seven meerkats have been let loose and are hiding around Moulsecoomb. Are you ready to take up the challenge and try to find them?

This mini-adventure is for children aged 3 to 6 and their families, but anyone can take part, whatever your age.

The trails are a chance to have fun, enjoy being out and about together and learn about local places. There are also stickers to collect along the way!

When can I do the trail?

You can do the trails between Monday 25 March and Sunday 2 June 2019.

Please check the opening times of the various locations to help you plan your trip.

How do I do the trails?

See our printable Meerkat Trail booklet (PDF 9MB) which has a map showing you where to find the Meerkats . You can also pick up a copy of the booklet at Moulsecomb Library or Moulsecoomb Train Station during normal opening hours. Then put on your walking shoes or jump on your scooter or bike - and start the search!

At each location, remember to write down what the Meerkat is holding on the form on the back of the printable booklet. Then return the form to us for a chance to win a micro-scooter or a goody bag.

How can I get to the trails?

The trail is easily accessible by public transport. Please see our travel information page to help you travel to the trail from across the city.

We hope you have fun finding the Meerkats!
