Pride Festival Weekend 2019: Parking and Travel advice

The  Pride Festival Weekend takes place on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 August 2019. In order for the event to take place, we need to close some roads, suspend parking and put in traffic diversions.

Road Closures

View the full list of road closures

Please check the list of road closures to see if the road closures apply to your route. Roads are closed at different times, please check each schedule.

If you make deliveries to businesses you may have to plan an alternative route and/or time during the festival weekend.

Parking Suspensions

Parking bays along the parade route and near the events will be suspended. Some bays will be suspended on the days before and after the day of the event.

The date and time of the suspension will be shown on the yellow triangular suspension sign.

Please check the signs before leaving a vehicle parked. We will need to relocate vehicles parked in suspend parking bays.
