Parking permit - change of vehicle
Find out what you need to do if you change your vehicle to make sure your parking permit is still valid. This includes what to do if you are using a temporary vehicle.

What to do if you can’t access the internet
If you cannot access the internet we will help you over the phone. This may require you to take extra steps after the phone call to complete your application, such as providing proof of address or vehicle documents by post. The parking services phone line is open to support customers unable to access our service through the website and online forms. Officers answering these calls will only be able to help you complete online forms.
The average wait time on this line is over 30 minutes.
Change of vehicle
Please contact us on 01273 29 6622, option 2 to obtain a temporary change of vehicle or information on permanent change of vehicle. Alternatively:
You will need to tell us:
- your permit number, which can be found on the bottom left corner of your permit
- full name
- phone number
- new vehicle details including vehicle registration mark, make, model and colour
- if this is your new vehicle or a temporary vehicle, like a courtesy vehicle
