TAKEPART - How to get involved

TAKEPART 2018 registration

Registrations closed on 1st March 2018. Unfortunately we are not able to accept any further applications however if you are keen to involved in future events please contact the Healthy Lifestyles Team on 01273 294589 or email healthylifestyles@brighton-hove.gov.uk

How can being involved with TAKEPART benefit my club or group?

TAKEPART is a chance to promote the fantastic opportunities your club or organisation offers residents. With a city distribution of more than 40,000 festival flyers, a media campaign and events attracting thousands of people, TAKEPART gives your organisation the opportunity to meet people wanting to play more sport or or be more active.

Feedback from local organisations has shown that TAKEPART can:

  • raise the profile of your organisation
  • increase your junior and adult membership
  • link with local schools and colleges
  • find new coaches and volunteers
  • help with issues important to your club

Want to Volunteer?

We are looking for volunteers  to be part of this year's Festival, and help create a fantastic two weeks of activity this summer.

No experience is required just enthusiasm for getting people involved and taking part – the roles will include meeting and greeting at outdoor events, marshalling, time keeping and general organisation at sporting events. Contact us at healthylifestyles@brighton-hove.gov.uk  to register your interest and help support community sport and physical activity in Brighton & Hove
