Nordic Walking and Longer Walks
If you've been attending Healthwalks for a while you may feel ready for a new challenge. A Healthwalk is officially a walk that is either no more than 3 miles in length or takes no more than 1.5 hours to complete, it is also a free walk that requires no special equipment or training. However, we recognise that many of our regular walkers would like to push themselves further so you may be interested in some of our progression activities such as our Nordic Walking for Health Progression Walks or some of the other more challenging walks in our Healthwalks Programme.

Regular guided walks of varying lengths led by the Cityparks Rangers
Brighton & Hove Ramblers
Countryside Walks every Sunday and Thursday of between 4 and 14 miles. Brighton and Hove Ramblers is a local walking and social group and is part of the national Ramblers. Some walks have age guides (30s-50s) but anyone with the appropriate level of fitness is welcome on any walk. Visit the website for their public walks programme.

Weekly walks all over Sussex. Full day walks on Sundays of about 10 miles. Half day walks of 5-6 miles from April-October
