Judging criteria

Relay StartThis primary or secondary school demonstrates serious commitment to the important role that physical education plays in the development of young people and has developed a sporting ethos that runs throughout the school. The teaching of the subject must be outstanding across a range of age groups and abilities, with a busy programme of activities taking place both in and out of curriculum time. Ideally, some of the extended activities will be led by, or involve, local clubs and / or coaches

Goldstone Primary School: Recognised for their achievements in providing a wide variety of opportunities for pupils to lead active lifestyles, and for making the effort to provide opportunities engaging all pupils regardless of their abilities. This school has gone the extra mile to support and inspire its pupils to participate in sport.
