Each organisation will be present at the event with activities for you to experience, join in or watch. Coaches, instructors, and volunteers will also on hand to answer any questions you may have about their activities in the city.

Activ8 For Kids Ltd

A range of classes, sessions, clubs, and activities which promote the enjoyment of sport and physical activity. Activ8 sessions are focussed mainly on children aged 1 to 11, but include adult fitness sessions, too, so the whole family can stay fit and healthy.

Albion in the Community

Albion in the Community (AITC) is the official charity of Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club. Through the power of football and the brand of Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club, we are committed to delivering high-quality, accessible opportunities that improve the health and wellbeing, education and aspirations of our community.

BeeZee Bodies

We are your dedicated team of nutritionists and behaviour change experts, here to help you make real, long lasting changes towards a healthier lifestyle. We run weight management and healthy lifestyles programmes for adults and families in Brighton & Hove,

Beleza School of Samba

We are an authentic Samba School setup up as a Social Enterprise based in Brighton UK and inspired by Rio Samba Schools. We teach culture, dance routines, costume production, preparation for stage, confidence building and consequently promoting the well being of body and mind!

Transport Projects

Our aim is to make Brighton & Hove a city fit for people. Our travel, transport and road safety schemes are geared towards helping residents, businesses and visitors to get around the city efficiently and safely. We want to give people more choice in how they travel and make it easy for everyone, whether they’re walking, cycling, driving, riding, using public transport, or even skating, blading and scooting.

Boys' Brigade & Girls Association (Brighton Battalion)

The Boys’ Brigade is a Christian Organisation, and was the first youth uniformed organisation in the UK. Every week, The Boys’ Brigade works with thousands of young people, including many of whom without any association with the Church. The Boys’ Brigade provides a balanced programme of activities for young people between the ages of 5 and 18. 

Brighton Ki Society

We are a local community organisation who aim to promote physical and mental well-being through mind and body co-ordination. We teach and study universal principles for life through Japanese yoga, meditation martial arts and healing practices.

Brighton & Hove Dance Academy

A dance school offering Jazz, Ballet and Creative Dance classes for children from three years up to adults.

Brighton & Hove  Scorpions American Football Club

Brighton and Hove's American Football Club for 10 to 18 year old girls and boys.

Brighton BodynBrain

Body and Brain, a Korean discipline with a rich 5,000-year-old history of holistic mind-body practices, has established its roots in Brighton. It offers deep physical, emotional and spiritual healing through meditative movement, deep stretching and good vibrations - suitable for people of all ages and levels, and it is the perfect way to increase your physical activity and gain a greater sense of peace.

Brighton Explorers Club


The Brighton Explorers Club is a multi-activity outdoors club based in Brighton. We do a wide variety of activities including rock climbing, road cycling, mountain biking, walking, caving, kayaking, windsurfing, badminton, tennis, coasteering and surfing. 

Brighton Handball Club

Brighton Handball Club was founded in the city after the London 2012 Olympic Games. The club is affiliated with the English Handball Association with 3 teams competing in official league and training sessions for men, women and under 19s. 

Brighton Judo Club


A friendly club run by an enthusiastic and experienced team of judoka and volunteers. The club is run on a non-profit, voluntary basis. Classes are available for all ages (minimum 5 years) and abilities.

Brighton Table Tennis Club

Brighton Table Tennis Club works with people of all ages, especially young people, to improve health, celebrate diversity and build a strong community. We run sessions for young people of all ages and backgrounds, those aged 50+, adults with learning disabilities, children in care, at over 10 schools, colleges and more.

Brighton Ultimate

Brighton Ultimate oversees the development of Ultimate Frisbee in Brighton & Hove, running practice sessions through the year, organising socials, and helping Brighton-based teams enter Tournaments

Brighton Yoga Foundation

Brighton Yoga Foundation aims to make yoga accessible to everyone - so we can all enjoy the amazing benefits it can bring. It provides year-round community yoga outreach activity and offers small grants to those with great ideas for local specialist yoga projects.

British Cycling Breeze Brighton & Hove

HSBC UK Breeze offers fun, free bike rides for women of all abilities across the UK.

Children Inspired by Yoga with Tatty Bumpkin


Our classes help children age 0-7 to be bendy, giggly, clever and strong. Join our happy, sociable classes filled with fun, music and active movement.  Develops flexibility through yoga, enhances creativity with multi-sensory stories and original music, aids development with early years curriculum links and promotes wellbeing and relaxation.

DreamSpin Hoop Dance

It's hula hooping and it's dancing with hoops and hooping and spinning .  Whatever you want to call it, we use hula hoops to dance with! Develops  eye-hand coordination, a sense of rhythm, stimulates brain development and motor skills.  It's non-competitive and very playful. 

ESAB-VIABLE

ESAB Viable provides social activities and social networking for blind and partially sighted people in the Brighton and Hove Area

Family Thing

A fantastic inclusive dance group who encourage authentic, creative and joyful self expression, including the amazing 283 Crew - Family Thing's first Streetdance group in Brighton. 

Fernee Forest Club and Friends of Moulsecoomb Woods

Fernee Forest Club creates opportunities for children and young people to have regular experiences in nature; using the Forest School approach to encourage curiosity, creativity and adventure and develop skills and confidence along the way.

Freedom Leisure


Freedom Leisure is a not-for-profit leisure trust which manages 7 leisure centre and swimming pool sites in Brighton & Hove with a wide range of classes, facilities and memberships on offer to supporting you to lead an active lifestyle in the city

Hannah Pickett Dance

Hannah specialises in teaching creative and contemporary youth workshops and facilitates improvisational workshops in performance and group work.

Healthy Lifestyles Team

The Healthy Lifestyles Team support adults and families wanting to make changes to their lifestyle and improve their health and wellbeing by: moving more and increasing physical activity, stopping smoking, losing weight, eating well, drinking less alcohol and improving your general wellbeing.

Talk to one of our trained advisers about the changes you or your family would like to make, and we’ll help you to access the support that’s right for you, provided by our team or other services available in the city.

We also run a range of free or low-cost community activity sessions for all ages and abilities around the city through our Active for Life and Healthwalk programmes

Kettlercise Brighton and Hove

Kettlercise is a low impact kettlebell workout. We use small weights (generally 4-6kg bells), but high repetitions in a sequence of 37 exercises designed to work every muscle group.​ Kettlercise is suitable for all levels, beginner through to advanced... Come give it a try!

KLH DANCE


KLH provide a wide range of dance styles, including cheer, commercial street, tap, technique and contemporary but specialise in Jazz. 

Little Kickers 

We give your children a positive introduction to sport by teaching high quality football skills in a friendly, pressure-free environment. There are four different classes tailored specifically to the needs of children between 18 months and seven years of age.

We love hula hooping! Why? Because it brings a smile to everyone's face plus it's SO good for you. Learn about how we got started, why we want to spread the love of hooping with the the world and about the many benefits of hulahooping.

Magic Moves and Bolly Moves


Magic moves are creative dance sessions dance for children (ages 2-16) in a fun and friendly atmosphere, Imaginative dance using exciting props and inspirational music from around the world. Bollymoves is inspired by the glitz and the glamour of Bollywood films, Just Jhoom! means Just Dance!  Easy to follow, energetic choreography drawn from popular and classical Indian dance styles set to fast-paced, vibrant Bollywood music (Ages 14+)

Maracatu Cruzeiro do Sul

Maracatu Cruzeiro do Sul is a Brighton based drumming, singing and dancing group. Formed in 2007 by Paul Dodd the group performs styles from the North East of Brazil including Maracatu, Coco, Baiao, Ciranda and Afoxe.

Marta Scott Dance Company


The Marta Scott Dance Company started in 2010 as an all inclusive, diverse dance company for all ages, abilities, genders and colours. We are a Carnival inspired company who perform regularly in Brighton and Hove.

MIND Brighton & Hove

Mind in Brighton and Hove works to promote good mental health in our city and across Sussex. We seek to empower people to lead a full life as part of their community.

Mini Athletics Brighton 

Through our imaginative play-based approach, we take children on a fantastic journey in athletic movement. Our enthusiastic and energetic coaching team teach the fundamentals of athletics (running, throwing, jumping) to help children improve their physical literacy and support early learning goals. Our 5-7yr athletes will learn the specifics of athletic events including javelin, shot put, long jump and much more, all whilst having lots of fun!

OldsKool Arts

Here at OldsKool Arts, we are committed to providing creative, life-enhancing workshops and events for the over fifties. We work in drama, dance and circus using professional and experienced workshop leaders to create unforgettable playful encounters for participants. Rugbytots Brighton & Worthing

Southern Knights

The Southern Knights are a Performing Arts, Colour Guard and Cheerleading organisation based in Brighton & Hove, East Sussex, England and perform precision marching and dance displays to music using flags, imitation rifles/sabres, pom poms and other similar items.

Streetfunk

Streetfunk is a multi award-winning Brighton & Hove based dance company / school providing Streetdance and Hip Hop dance classes to people of all ages, ranging from 4 yrs to adults!

Sussex Bears Wheelchair Basketball

Our wheelchair basketball team compete in the British Wheelchair Basketball National League division 2 league and the Development League. We're creating a new development pathway in sussex that is the county into a major player in the development of Wheelchair sport, that will see kids with disabilities in Sussex have pathways in disabled sports from grassroots to national leagues and beyond.

Sussex Dance Network

An artist led organisation for individual dance artists providing regular opportunities for training and upskilling, a quality programme and an expanded, informed and important members network.

Sussex Shaolin Kung Fu

The name of our System is Shaolin Nam Pai Chuan (North South Fist), one of the many styles in the rich panoply of Chinese martial arts. It has been taught in Brighton for the past fifteen years and is a broad style, incorporating all the fundamental elements of the martial arts.

Sustrans Bike It Project

Sustrans is the sustainable transport charity which aims to make it easier for people to walk and cycle. The Bike It Project, an established national Sustrans project is working across the city to get more people cycling in and around schools.

The Circus Project is charity engaging the community from young individuals to professional circus companies, artists and aerialists. We do this by running circus skill classes and workshops, encouraging and supporting new ideas and by working in contemporary circus to produce shows and cabarets to showcase the talents of our students.

The Magic Chocolate Show/ Fan Dance Theatre Company

Fan Dance Theatre and the Magic Chocolate Show is a collaboration between two inclusive groups of performers with and without disabilities that makes for an exciting visual adventure.
