Improving the seafront
Thank you to each and every one who supported and pledged towards #SaveBrightonTerraces campaign. The crowdfunding campaign ended with 2,163 backers and £465,914 in pledges. The campaign is the crucial first step in a £24 million plan to save Madeira Terrace.
Brighton & Hove welcomes more than 10 million visitors each year. Our iconic seafront is a tourist attraction recognised around the world.
We're working with development partners and external funding sources to preserve our historic seafront. We also want to bring in new investment and future attractions.
These developments will earn the council money from rents, council tax, business rates and more. Creating more funds for vital front-line services.
There's so much to do on Brighton & Hove's seafront. Find out some of what's on offer with Visit Brighton.
