If you have been bereaved by suicide, whether recently or many years ago, you may need support from people who understand how this may affect you.

Local support

Survivors of Bereavement by Suicide (SOBS) is a group for survivors of bereavement by suicide in Brighton & Hove. The group meets on the first Monday of every month.

Rethink Mental Illness Survivors of Suicide service - This service offers support to those who have had thoughts of suicide, attempted and /or have been bereaved by suicide. You can self-refer or be referred. The service is free and confidential service. It offers one to one support and peer support groups. You can also get support from Rethink’s national helplines

The Samaritans Brighton, Hove and District Samaritans offer 24 hour confidential emotional support for anyone in a crisis. Phone 01273 772277 or drop in from 10am to 10 pm.
