Get involved week
Your feedback is helping us to improve Adult Social Care services
Thank you to everyone who visited us at Jubilee Library between 7 and 11 April 2014, retweeted and shared #BHGetinvolved and fed back to the team online.
Over the next couple of months we will be collating all the valuable information that you provided us with. Some of this information will appear in our next ‘Local Account’ due out at the end of the summer. We will then work with our colleagues in Adult Social Care to make changes to some of the services we provide and feedback to you over the year how we are doing. One example of this, on the topic of ‘work force supporting me’, you said that if you received a service you would like to get involved with designing training for staff or even help to facilitate training. This information has already been fed back to our training team, and those that offered to take part in this may be contacted soon.
Thank you again to all those that took part in the week long event and don’t forget you still have until 1 May to continue to join in by answering questions on our online questionnaire.
Email for further information firstname.lastname@example.org.
Our six themes
The six key themes that you have said we need to improve on were identified from your feedback.
In June 2013 we held an event at Hove Town Hall called ‘Adult Social Care City Summit’. We had over 80 people attending the event made up of: service users, carers and interested parties giving us feedback about our services. Each year we also carry out a large survey to gather information from those using our services or carers to ask you for feedback. Each of the sessions at Jubilee Library will focus on a separate theme (the Wednesday session will cover two themes)
- Information and advice
- Support in my community
- Personal budgets
- Flexible Support
- Workforce Supporting me
- Feeling Safe
