Use this form to submit an appeal against a Housing Benefit or Council Tax Reduction (formerly Council Tax Benefit) decision

You can use this form if you want to appeal a benefit / reduction decision made by the Benefits Service. This form is for use after:

  • you have received a letter from us telling you the decision or a written statement of reasons explaining the decision
  • or we have explained our decision and you still think it is wrong
  • our letter telling you about the decision tells you if you have the right to appeal against it.
