Covid-19: Changes to Electoral Services
To contact the Electoral Services team:
- Email electors@brighton-hove.gov.uk, the service will respond to emails quickly
- phone lines are available Tuesday to Thursday from 10.30am to 12.30pm and from 1.30pn to 3.30pm
- Hove Town Hall’s Customer Service Centre is still closed to the public
Applications to register to vote should be made online and any documentary evidence required for registration should be sent by email.
Where possible please use the digital response methods available. Please avoid posting paper correspondence as there may be a delay in any requests being actioned.
The Electoral Registration Officer will continue to publish monthly updates and distribute these to credit reference agencies.
The signing of Pension Life Certificates will be available monthly via a strict appointment basis. Please contact the service for further information.

Register to vote
Please make sure you register to vote every time you move. You also need to make sure you plan ahead for voting in case you need a postal vote or proxy if you are on holiday, working away or have difficulty accessing the polling station.
