Our budget for 2018/19 has been agreed. Throughout the budget setting process, our aims have been to protect the most vulnerable, get basic services right and growing an economy that benefits everyone.

Government funding for public services is decreasing and demand for our services is increasing.
We're balancing our budget and investing in essential services. Our budget funds more than 700 services for people living and working in Brighton & Hove.
The budget decides how much your Council Tax will be. Council Tax currently provides 17% of our income. Your total Council Tax bill also includes funding for Sussex Police and East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service.
