Royal Pavilion Garden consultation

The garden at the heart of the Royal Pavilion estate is a beautiful Regency treasure considered one of the nation’s most significant outside spaces. We would like to know what you think could improve the garden and increase understanding of its significance.

We will use your feedback to inform funding bids to invest in the garden and activities within it.

Valley Gardens Phase 3: Old Steine & Palace Pier Roundabout

Closing date: Friday 29 June 2018

The council will shortly begin designing improvements for the third phase of the Valley Gardens project. This will include the Old Steine area and the Palace Pier roundabout.

We are inviting you to tell us what you think about the area at the moment. Your responses will be used to help inform the proposed designs.

Severe Weather Provision for Rough Sleepers

Proposals to open the Severe Weather Provision for Rough Sleepers (SWEP) more frequently

Brighton & Hove City Council councils current contract to provide the SWEP service is at an end. The council will be tendering for a new service over the coming months.

The SWEP provides emergency shelter for rough sleepers in times of severe weather in order to prevent loss of life.  

Your views are being sought on the proposed changes.

The Brighton & Hove Visitor Economy Strategy consultation

Closing date: Sunday 22 July 2018

This consultation is an opportunity for Brighton & Hove residents and those working in the sector to comment on the draft of the Visitor Economy Strategy 2018 -2023.  Comments received will be taken into consideration when completing the final Visitor Economy Strategy which will go to the Tourism Development & Culture Committee on 27th September for formal approval.
