Our management and structure
We agreed a new management structure for the council in April 2016.
There are some interim arrangements in place while we recruit people to fill new roles.
Services are now grouped together as below.
Executive Leadership Team and Corporate Management Team
Our chief executive, Geoff Raw works with the Executive Leadership Team (ELT). The team meets weekly and works with councillors, partners and stakeholders to identify the needs and priorities of our customers and the city – turning them into key strategies for the organisation.
ELT is responsible for setting our direction, risk management, and providing high performance leadership. In addition, other colleagues are invited to provide expertise in their role as head of profession.
The Corporate Management Team (CMT) is the next level of senior officers across all departments. CMT meet monthly and are responsible for collaboration across services and implementing corporate priorities.
