St Joseph's RC Primary

Who we are

St Joseph's is a smaller than average, one form entry, Catholic primary school in the Diocese of Arundel and Brighton. The school serves two parishes: St Joseph's and St Francis of Assisi. Most families live in the local area but some travel from across the city. We have close links with the parish and our local community. We pride ourselves on our inclusive approach and celebrate the diversity of our pupils. As well as providing excellent pastoral care, in a loving and nurturing environment, we plan for a curriculum that is fun, creative and stimulating.

Pupils make good progress during their time at St Joseph's. Teachers work hard to ensure that lessons interest and engage learners. They make sure that work is matched well to pupils needs; providing a good level of support for pupils who struggle with learning, including disabled pupils and those with additional needs. Pupils behave well and have positive attitudes to learning.
