Hangleton Primary School

Who we are

Hangleton Primary School is a large school with over 600 pupils on roll rising to a possible maximum of 654. We are proud of our inclusive approach to all children and their education. Children at Hangleton Primary School enjoy learning and enjoy coming to school. The curriculum is wide and balanced and the environment and atmosphere of our school are physically and emotionally supportive and stimulating. Pupils at Hangleton are taught to respect difference and embrace the variety and richness which it brings and generates. They are encouraged to inspire others and have high aspirations for themselves. Children feel safe and cared for and are nurtured so they grow into rounded, caring citizens, achieving their full potential.

What specialist services and expertise are available at or accessed by the school?

We have a wide range of experienced staff working for our children. Our reading room is staffed by specially trained teachers working on a one to one basis with children. We have fully trained teaching assistants providing one to one and group speech and language support.
