These centres offer services for families and carers with children under five in all areas of Whitehawk, part of Kemp Town and The Deans (Woodingdean, Ovingdean, Rottingdean and Saltdean).
The Sure Start Children's Centre team, based at Roundabout Children's Centre, is made up of Health Visitors, Early Years Educators, Group Support Workers, Community Nursery Nurses and Volunteer Skills Development Coordinators. The team works with families with children under 5, individually and in groups, both in the home and in the children’s centre..
Roundabout Nursery is next door to the children's centre in Whitehawk and works in partnership with the children's centre team.
Group activities are held in the children's centres - some of these are drop-in sessions and others are by appointment or referral. Due to staff changes some groups have changed time or day.
Please check the Roundabout and Deans CC Activity Diary - April 2018 (PDF 620KB) or contact the Children's Centre if you'd like a paper copy.
