Hangleton Park Children's Centre

This centre offer services for families/carers with children under 5 years to all areas in Hangleton.

The Sure Start Children's Centre team, based in Hangleton Park Children's Centre, is made up of Health Visitors, Early Years Educators, Group Support Workers, Community Nursery Nurse and Volunteer Skills Development Coordinator. The team works with families with children under 5, individually and in groups, both in the home and in the children’s centre.

Opening times

Hangleton Park Children's Centre is open:

  • Monday to Thursday 9am to 4.30pm
  • Friday 9am to 4pm

Hangleton Park Children's Centre is closed weekends and bank holidays.


Some groups are drop-in sessions and others are by appointment or referral.

Healthy Child Clinics

Health Visitors hold a drop-in Healthy Child Clinic for children under 5.

  • Wednesday 9.30am to 10.45am at Hangleton Park Children's Centre (Please note change of times from 1 November 2019)

Volunteering, training and centre news

The centre has an advisory group that supports and guides the services offered. Local parents are involved in these meetings. Contact the Children's Centre Manager or Volunteer Skills Development Coordinator for details.
