ASCSS Parent Support Group

The Autistic Spectrum Condition Support Service (ASCSS) is part of the council's education services. We work as an outreach service for pupils with Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC) in mainstream schools.

All parents or carers of children diagnosed with an autistic spectrum condition, whether attending mainstream or special school, are welcome to attend these meetings

The meetings are held regularly during school term time.

There is usually a talk lasting about 45 minutes including questions, followed by 45 minutes for informal chat with each other and the speaker of the day.

Venue

Meetings are often held at Downs Park School in Portslade or another venue in the city.

Meetings take place on different days to ensure as many parents can join as possible.
