Find out how to reduce the carbon footprint of your business, improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Businesses that reduce their impact on the environment often find they save money too. Resource efficiency is about looking at the resources a business consumes and finding ways to reduce them. That could be energy, water, packaging, the production of waste.
There are a number of local and national initiatives that help businesses improve their environmental performance and the details of some of them are included here.
Green Growth Platform
A new project led by the University of Brighton to link the knowledge assets of the university with 1,000 high-growth-potential small-to-medium sized enterprises (SMEs) and private, public and third-sector partners, with the aims of supporting innovation, addressing skills shortages and improving growth in low-carbon environmental goods and services sectors. It will focus on four areas: sustainable buildings and retrofit; renewable energy; recycling and waste; and water.
Sustainable Business Network
